Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-S5-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Rated for cabinet installation, the unit draws plant power and manages closed-loop motion in assembly, printing, and material-handling equipment where compact axis control is required. It is intended for drive groups that need coordinated electronic control without using a large standalone control cabinet layout. The controller uses the ADVANCED control section for the HCS01 platform, which supports coordinated motion tasks and networked operation within multi-axis systems.
Devices connect through a SERCOS III master with cross communication port so neighboring drives can exchange setpoints during synchronized operation. Power enters on a 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10% mains connection and is internally rectified for drive operation. Cooling is provided by an integrated internal air blower that moves air across the heat sink to manage temperature during sustained use. For short bursts, the converter can deliver 54 A, allowing it to support temporary peak demand from the connected motor. Touch-safe terminals and an IP20 housing make the controller suitable for protected cabinet zones where direct contact with internal live parts must be limited.
The controller normally operates in infeeding and fed power supply mode, which is selected during cabinet wiring. Motor position data enters through a multifunction feedback connection that accepts IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoders. Legacy control platforms can exchange cyclic data via PROFIBUS without an external gateway. The controller can also transfer regenerated energy from a braking axis to a driven axis across the common DC bus. This shared bus behavior helps support multi-axis operation when one axis is decelerating while another axis is accelerating.
