The Bosch Rexroth HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-S4-NN-FW is a 54 Amps rated drive controller. It is used to control compatible servo motors. Typical controller applications include handling and mounting systems, packaging machines, printing and paper converting machines, and machine tools. HCS series drive controllers should be operated under the assembly and installation conditions specified in this documentation, in the specified position of normal use, and under the specified ambient conditions (temperature, degree of protection, humidity etc.). The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-S4-NN-FW controller is available in an IP20 rated enclosure designed for vertical mounting. The controller can be installed by either attaching the right-side, the left-side or the back-side to the mounting surface. Bosch recommends attaching the controller back-side to the mounting surface. The left-side or right-side mounting should be used if the clearance between the front of the controller and the cabinet wall is insufficient for back-side mounting.
There are braking resistors located at the back of the HCS devices. These resistors can become very hot during operation. When arranging the devices in the control cabinet, operators should ensure that there are not any heat-sensitive materials close to the braking resistors. HCS drive controllers are designed for control cabinet mounting. They are mounted with two screws (M6×20; contained in the supplied accessory HAS09). The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-S4-NN-FW controller works when connected to AC mains at 200 to 500 Volts AC (three-phase). The controller is shipped with a standard control panel that attaches to the front of the controller. The control panel does not support hot-plug. The control section on the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-S4-NN-FW is an advanced control section. The controller features a multi-encoder interface, SERCOS III communication, a Profibus module and a safe motion safety module.
