The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As a compact single-axis unit, it regulates motor torque and speed in automated machinery by converting three-phase mains power into controlled output and coordinating motion commands with the plant network. Within an automation cell, it acts as the electrical interface between the higher-level PLC and the connected servo motor while handling power distribution and real-time feedback processing.
The power section accepts a supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, allowing the same hardware to operate on a range of regional grids without tap changes. During acceleration events, the current path can reach 54 A, which sets the motor winding and cable sizes that can be used with the unit. Internal components use internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so separate cabinet airflow is not required for the drive itself. Its housing is rated IP20, which indicates finger-safe terminals but no sealing against dripping water, so it is intended for installation in a closed electrical enclosure. Motion data moves across the drive network through a SERCOS III master with cross communication interface, allowing synchronized axis updates at very short cycle times.
A secondary fieldbus port supports PROFIBUS, allowing legacy controllers to exchange parameter data and diagnostic telegrams with the same hardware. Within the series, the device carries the size tag HCS01, and its electronics use the ADVANCED control section, which provides additional processing resources for multi-encoder evaluation. The first feedback channel accepts IndraDyn Hiperface or EnDat 2.1 and 2.2 encoder signals, giving flexible feedback compatibility without extra option boards. The power stack is classified as infeeding and fed, which allows surplus regenerative energy from braking axes to be shared across a common DC bus. The unit does not include an integrated safety interface, so any safe torque off function must be provided externally.
