Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS drive controller, it regulates torque, speed, and position for servo axes in automated machinery. The device is supplied as a power section that mates with an ADVANCED control section, providing scalable motion control functions needed in multi-axis production lines. Its compact housing allows installation inside protected control cabinets.
Energized from a three-phase supply rated at 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, the controller can deliver up to 54 A of peak output current to connected motors. Heat is extracted by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. The integrated control section is classified as ADVANCED, version 1, and communicates with higher-level PLCs over a SERCOS III master (cross communication) channel, allowing deterministic drive-to-drive data exchange. Protection against accidental touch is provided by the IP20 enclosure rating. Encoder feedback enters through Interface 1, while Interface 2 is left unpopulated to simplify wiring. The power module supports both infeeding and fed-back energy modes, which suits applications with regenerative axes.
Feedback is connected through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 port, which supports absolute position data and works with the HCS01 line’s cross-communication functions. This arrangement supports synchronized axis behavior when coordinated data must be shared between drives. The built-in STO (Safe Torque Off) circuit disconnects gate signals to the output stage, allowing Category 0 stop requirements to be met without external relays. This power section is intended to operate with the matching control card so motion, feedback, and safety functions remain coordinated.
