Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power section of a modular servo system, taking three-phase mains power and regulating current to attached motors while exchanging motion commands with higher-level PLCs. Within an automation cell, the unit provides closed-loop speed and torque regulation, enabling coordinated axis movement for packaging machines, printing lines, and material-handling gantries. This arrangement supports both standalone axes and synchronized multi-axis motion.
The controller supports networked motion control through a SERCOS III master interface, so axis data and synchronized timing are transported over real-time Ethernet without additional gateway hardware. During rapid acceleration, the inverter can deliver up to 54 A of peak output current, which gives the connected servo motor short-term torque reserve. Its DC link is fed from utility power in the range of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, allowing the same hardware to operate on a wide range of factory power systems. Feedback from the motor is returned over the integrated Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 port, which supplies absolute position data and electronic nameplate parameters for faster setup. Heat produced by the IGBT bridge is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required inside the control cabinet.
The paired control section is classified as ADVANCED, which adds extended motion functions such as interpolation and cross-communication between drives. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so live parts are finger-safe but the device must be mounted inside a protected enclosure. For functional safety, the power stage includes STO and SBC, allowing the drive to support safe torque shutdown and brake control without separate relays. On the fieldbus side, a second port labeled MultiEthernet permits access over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or TCP-based services. This gives the unit a wider communication range without requiring option cards.
