Applications of the HCS drive converters include machine tools and printing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-L4-NN-FW is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s drive converters designed for control sections in the ADVANCED range. It features a multi-encoder interface, allowing different standard encoder systems to be connected. These include the MSM motor encoder, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the MSK motor encoder, and the combined encoder for SSI. The supply voltage ratings of these encoders are 5V and 12V. This HCS model communicates with other system components via its sercos master (cross communication) module. However, it is also equipped with a Multi-Ethernet module that allows drive controllers to be integrated with different Ethernet field bus systems, including EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, sercos III, or PROFINET IO.
Since the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-L4-NN-FW has a compact build, its installation within a control cabinet is easy. It is cooled within this control cabinet, where an active cooling airflow constantly runs to eliminate heat. Its safety technology module is Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Brake Control (SBC), protecting both users and the machine from potentially harmful situations like an unintentional startup.
