The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-CC-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the power and control interface between a plant's CNC or PLC and attached synchronous or asynchronous servo motors, adjusting speed, torque, and position for automated machinery. This allows the unit to support coordinated axis movement in handling systems, machine tools, and other equipment that depends on closed-loop motion control. The power stage accepts 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10% mains, which allows operation on a wide range of three-phase supply systems.
The controller exchanges cyclic data with higher-level control systems through a SERCOS III master with cross communication link, and this arrangement also supports drive-to-drive data exchange on the ring. This communication path supports synchronized command transfer and status reporting during multi-axis operation. Thermal management is handled by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so the fan moves air through the heat sink without external ducting. During acceleration or braking, the inverter can source up to 54 A of peak phase current for short-term demand. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit is finger-safe but requires installation inside a protected cabinet. This module belongs to the HCS01 line and is identified as design version 1.
The plug-in control section supplied for this power module is the ADVANCED type, which provides extended motion functions and added diagnostic capability. Motor feedback enters through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing compatible encoder signals to be processed by the drive. DC bus handling uses an infeeding and feeding topology, so recovered energy can return to the supply network or be shared on a common DC link.
