The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-AW is an HCS drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It converts three-phase mains power into a regulated DC link and a pulse-width-modulated output, enabling precise speed, position, and torque control of servo or induction motors in industrial automation cells. This controller is intended for cabinet-mounted drive systems where compact size, network communication, and closed-loop motor control are required. It is used as the power and control stage for applications that need accurate axis response and stable motor regulation.
This controller communicates with higher-level PLCs through the MultiEthernet interface, so one physical port can exchange real-time data across several Ethernet-based fieldbuses. It accepts a supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, and during acceleration or braking, the inverter stage can deliver up to 28 A of peak current to the motor windings. Protection is provided by an IP20 enclosure, which is suitable for installation inside a control cabinet. Cooling relies on internal air cooling driven by an integrated blower to maintain component temperature without external ducting. The drive section is paired with a control section identified as BASIC, which provides standard motion functions but does not include advanced technology packages or safety features. The feedback connection uses an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing precise position data to enter the control loop for demanding motion profiles. The DC link is arranged for infeeding and fed operation, so regenerated energy can return to the shared bus or the mains during deceleration. A second feedback slot is present, but Interface 2 is not equipped, leaving that position open. No supplementary design features are installed, so normal operation depends on adequate cabinet airflow and properly shielded motor and feedback cables.
