Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-L4-NN-FW as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series and the HCS01 line. It is an HCS drive controller that converts incoming mains power into regulated, pulse-width-modulated output for connected motors. Within an automation cell, it serves as the axis-level power stage and works with higher-level control to position tooling, conveyors, or auxiliary equipment. This arrangement supports coordinated torque and speed control during routine machine motion. Its role is to supply controlled motor power while responding to commands from the machine controller.

Electrically, the unit accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10%, so it can operate on a wide range of factory networks. This voltage range allows the same controller platform to fit different plant distribution systems without changing its basic function. Its communication backplane provides MultiEthernet for direct integration with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and other Ethernet-based control systems. During dynamic peaks, the power section can deliver 28 A to the motor, and heat is removed by an internal air blower that circulates cabinet air through the heat sink.
