The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-S4-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It combines a power stage with digital control functions to command servo and induction motors used in material-handling lines, pick-and-place stations, and modular machine tools. By converting incoming three-phase power into regulated output and linking directly to upper-level PLCs, the unit supports compact automation cabinets where drive density and DIN-rail space are critical.
The controller communicates over MultiEthernet, allowing the same hardware to join PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT networks without option cards. Its control section is specified as BASIC, a configuration that provides standard axis functions while keeping the parameter count moderate. During acceleration events, the power stage can deliver a device peak current of 28 A, and thermal energy is removed by an internal blower that circulates air through the heat sink. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for installation inside a closed cabinet. Electrical input spans 3 × AC 200-500 V ±10%, which allows use on both 230 V and 400 V plant supplies.
Axis feedback enters on the dedicated Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 port, while decentralized I/O or diagnostic devices can share data through the integrated CANopen bus. The power section uses infeeding and fed operation, enabling connection to common DC bus arrangements that return regenerated energy to the supply. The unit is Design Version 1. The control section is matched to the associated power module in the HCS01 line. This arrangement supports a consistent connection between the control electronics and the power stage during operation.
