The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS drive controller, it supplies regulated power and closed-loop control to servo or induction motors used in industrial handling, packaging, and processing equipment. The unit belongs to the HCS01 line and is intended for installation inside electrical enclosures, where it coordinates axis movement and synchronizes machine functions with higher-level PLCs. Its role in the drive system is to convert incoming electrical power into controlled motor output while maintaining the feedback loops needed for accurate motion.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, a range that covers common factory power systems. During acceleration or braking, it can deliver up to 28 A of peak output current to the connected motor windings. An IP20 enclosure rating means the unit requires cabinet mounting while still allowing practical access to wiring points. Network connectivity is provided by MultiEthernet, which supports real-time communication over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or Sercos III without additional hardware. Local device expansion is handled through the integrated CANopen fieldbus, allowing coordinated data exchange with compatible devices and neighboring axes.
A BASIC control section is fitted, and the electronics use Design Version 1. Power is supplied through an infeeding and DC-bus feed module that supports shared DC-bus operation between adjacent drives. Motor position feedback arrives through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing the controller to process absolute position data without external adapters. Internal air cooling with an integrated blower moves heat past the power stage, so no external coolant lines are required.
