Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and placed within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Within the HCS01 line, it is design version 1. The device coordinates servo axes by converting three-phase mains power into controlled motor output and by exchanging real-time motion data with factory PLCs, which supports precise speed and torque regulation in automated machinery. Its power section can operate in infeeding or fed mode so DC-bus energy can be shared between axes on the same machine during changing load conditions.
It operates from a three-phase input of 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10% and can deliver up to 28 A of peak current to connected inverters during dynamic acceleration events. This current capability provides short-term headroom when an axis starts, accelerates, or reverses direction. Internal thermal management uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, and the housing has an IP20 rating for installation inside enclosed electrical cabinets rather than open machine mounting. For drive-to-drive synchronization, the power section provides a SERCOS III master link, which allows high-speed cross-communication without an additional fieldbus coupler.
The ADVANCED control section expands processing capacity for coordinated motion tasks and communication handling. Motion feedback is accepted through a multifunction encoder port with IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder support, so the controller can work with several motor feedback formats. Machine-level commands can be exchanged through PROFIBUS, which supports integration with installed automation networks. Safety is handled by an integrated STO circuit, allowing torque shutdown without external contactors. The controller can therefore manage motor feedback, fieldbus communication, and safe shutdown through dedicated onboard interfaces.
