The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-FW is a sophisticated industrial converter produced by Rexroth Indramat to control the speed, position and general operation of electrical motors used in industrial operation. This converter is a compact device featuring a housing unit designed to protect the internal components of the converter from any solid substances with an external diameter larger than 12 millimetres. To provide a higher degree of protection, the converter should be installed in an additional control cabinet that meets the IP54 protection class. Under ideal industrial conditions, this electrical converter maintains an operational efficiency of about 95 per cent, it also features a multi-encoder interface that makes it perfectly compatible with industrial motors featuring all standard encoder designs such as the MSM encoder, TTL encoder, BiSS encoder and lots more. The converter also features a hall sensor adaptor box that is compatible with linear motors that contain digital hall sensors.
The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-FW electrical converter features the SERCOS III master communication interface, alternatively, it is also compatible with the PROFIBUS DP, CANopen, and the Multi-Ethernet communication interface. An advanced control panel is also integrated into the housing of the electrical converter to provide industrial operators with a user-friendly means of interacting and monitoring the operation of the converter in real-time.
The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-FW converter also contains an internal air blower which operates to keep its operational temperature within a permissible range via natural convection. The permissible operation ambient temperature for this electrical converter falls between 0 to about 40 degrees Celsius, however, when the converter is not in operation, it can be stored at a temperature as high as 80 degrees Celsius, without any risk of damage to the machine.
