The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-AW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As part of the compact HCS01 line, it regulates motor speed, torque, and position for axes used in industrial automation cells, packaging machinery, and handling systems. The unit combines the power section and control electronics in one chassis, which helps reduce cabinet space and simplifies internal wiring. It serves as the control and power stage between the machine supply and a connected motor, providing coordinated response to motion commands from the automation system.
The power stage accepts a three-phase input of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing operation from a broad range of industrial mains supplies. During dynamic acceleration, the device can deliver up to 18 A of peak current to the connected motor windings, which supports short bursts of higher torque demand. Internal heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower. The IP20 enclosure is intended for installation inside a protected cabinet and allows access to terminals for system wiring. For networked motion control, the unit uses a Multi-Ethernet communication interface that supports direct connection to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, or Sercos III without additional option cards.
The control section uses the BASIC design and is intended for standard axis control tasks rather than expanded option sets. Position feedback is handled through Interface 1 with IndraDyn encoder support with Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2, so the controller can work with common Rexroth motor feedback systems in this platform. Interface 2 and the safety interface are not installed on this version, keeping the configuration limited to the primary feedback channel. System power is exchanged through the DC bus in infeed/feed operation, and the product is identified as Design Version 1.
