Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-AA-FW belongs to the HCS01 line in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS drive controller, it supplies regulated three-phase power and handles position, speed, and torque control for servo or induction motors used in automated handling, packaging, and conveying equipment. The unit combines a power section with a modular control section, allowing it to exchange motion commands and diagnostic data with supervisory PLCs over standard plant networks. This supports coordinated axis behavior during starting, stopping, indexing, and speed changes in compact machine installations.
The drive accepts a wide-range input of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, so the same hardware can operate on different utility grids. Network communication is handled through MultiEthernet, which supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT without additional option cards. Its IP20 housing is finger-safe but still requires cabinet installation for protection from dust and moisture. Heat from the power stage is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, and the inverter can deliver a peak phase current of 18 A during short acceleration demands. Because cooling is internal, the cabinet still needs adequate airflow around the drive to carry heat away from the enclosure.
The control section uses the BASIC variant, so the drive follows the standard motion and parameter feature set for this platform. Position feedback is received through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing high-resolution commutation without external converters. The drive supports Infeeding / Feeded operation, which lets multiple units share a common DC bus and return regenerated energy to the line. The unit is Design Version 1, and the secondary communication and safety interface slots are not equipped. This arrangement suits applications that need core motion control without extra interface hardware.
