The device supervises motor operation in automated machinery by modulating power according to feedback signals and network commands. The power stage accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, giving the controller flexibility to operate in mixed-voltage plants without an autotransformer. Internally, it can deliver a peak output current of 18 A, so connected motors may draw short-term acceleration currents while the device remains within its thermal limits. Command data and diagnostic packets pass through the integrated Multi-Ethernet interface, which supports common industrial protocols through a single hardware port. Rotor position is resolved through the first feedback connector, which provides support for IndraDyn, Hiperface, and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoders and allows high-resolution commutation. The control section is the BASIC variant, providing standard motion functions without optional advanced technology add-ons.
Cooling relies on internal air supplied by an integrated blower, which removes heat without requiring external ductwork.
