The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a compact drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As the power and control element between an industrial power bus and an attached servo or induction motor, it supports closed-loop speed and torque regulation in automated machinery. Its HCS01 line size makes it suitable for low-to-medium power axes in packaging machines, material handling stations, and light process equipment. This arrangement lets the controller regulate motor output with the quick response needed for repeatable axis movement.
Its electrical input accepts three-phase mains of 3 x AC 200–500 V ±10%, which allows use across a wide range of plant voltages. The internal power stage can deliver a device peak current of 18 A, which supports short bursts of higher motor torque during acceleration or sudden load changes. System I/O and higher-level control are handled through the integrated MultiEthernet interface, allowing the controller to communicate over industrial Ethernet networks without added hardware. Personnel protection is provided by the certified STO channel, which removes motor energization when an emergency stop circuit is activated. The IP20 housing is intended for control cabinet installation where the unit is protected from debris and accidental contact.
The controller uses the BASIC control section indicated in the part code. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling from an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required for normal cabinet installation. Motor feedback wiring connects to the dedicated Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, supporting compatible feedback devices used with Rexroth motor systems. The second interface slot is not equipped, leaving that connection point unused on this version of the controller.
