The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive motor controller. Salient features of HCS controllers include compact construction, IP20 rated enclosures, integrated multi-encoder interface, DC bus connection, performance-dependent fan control, and Hall sensor adapter. HCS controllers are suited to a range of applications including machine tools, packaging machines, paper converting machines, and mounting systems. Bosch controllers should only be used under the assembly and mounting conditions specified in the product documentation. HCS controllers must not be used if they are exposed to operating conditions that do not meet the specified ambient conditions. This includes, for example, operation under water, under extreme temperature fluctuations or extreme maximum temperatures. Furthermore, Bosch drive controllers must not be used in applications that are not authorized by Bosch. IndraDrive systems require use of appropriate interference suppression to be used in the drive system.
HCS controllers are not designed for use in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas. If HCS controllers are used in such areas, then additional measures of interference suppression must be employed. The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW is designed to deliver maximum 18 Amps output. It requires three-phase AC input at 200 to 500 Volts AC. The permitted ambient temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Controller use outside this range leads to output derating and can also lead to component malfunction. As the controllers dissipates heat inside the cabinet, operators must either use large cabinets or air-conditioning for maintenance of ambient temperature. The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW supports integrated Multi-Ethernet communication. Optional hardware modules with an engineering port and safe torque off are also installed on the unit. Operators can use a standard control panel to monitor and program the motor controller.
