Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-DA-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It converts incoming three-phase power and performs torque and position control for servo or spindle axes in automated machinery. The unit provides the electrical interface between the plant mains and the motor, allowing precise motion sequences in production equipment. This arrangement supports controlled acceleration, speed regulation, and positioning within a compact cabinet-mounted drive system.
Network communication is handled through a MultiEthernet port, so the controller can connect to EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or SERCOS networks without additional hardware. The control section is supplied in the BASIC configuration, which provides standard motion functions. A protection level of IP20 requires installation inside a cabinet, and cooling is provided by internal airflow from an integrated blower. During operation, the power stage can supply a peak current of 18 A to the attached motor while accepting utility power at 3 × AC 200–500 V with a tolerance of ±10 percent. This input range allows the same unit to operate across multiple regional voltage systems.
The drive is design version 1 and matches the mechanical footprint of the HCS01 line. Feedback is connected through an Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, allowing the drive to process absolute position data directly from supported motors. DC-bus management uses infeeding and fed operation, so the inverter can draw energy from the supply section and return regenerated power to the common link. The power section must be paired with the designated control section to complete the axis controller, and this layout supports compact integration in enclosed automation cabinets.
