Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It converts three-phase mains power into regulated output for servo or induction motors. Its role is to regulate motor output in response to command signals from the control system. This allows precise speed and torque control in industrial automation cells such as pick-and-place gantries, conveyors, and packaging machines.
This controller communicates with higher-level systems through the MultiEthernet interface, so it can operate on standard Ethernet-based fieldbus networks without additional gateways. It accepts a supply of 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10%, covering common low- and medium-voltage plant networks. During acceleration or sudden load changes, the power section can deliver a peak current of 18 A, providing short-term overload capability for dynamic axes. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so it must be installed inside a cabinet. Internal airflow from an integrated blower removes heat, and the BASIC control section provides standard motion functions without optional extended technology packages. This arrangement supports compact cabinet layouts where separate cooling hardware is not required.
Feedback compatibility is handled through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder input and a second channel that offers encoder emulation for legacy drive chains, so one controller can supervise modern and older motor types. That combination is useful in systems that mix existing feedback devices with newer motor platforms. The integrated safety interface supports STO (Safe Torque Off), allowing Category 0 stop functions without external contactors. Power is sourced from an infeeding/feeded supply module, which lets multiple axes share regenerative energy and reduces overall cabinet wiring.
