One of the notable features of the HCS drive converters by Bosch Rexroth is their compact build. The motion control units are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system with various interfaces that support user-specific applications. Their typical applications include packaging machines, machine tools, and handling systems.
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive converter in the HCS series by Bosch Rexroth. It accommodates a maximum current of 18A and switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. Encoders like the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the MS2N motor encoder, the MSK motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface can be connected to this drive converter thanks to its multi-encoder interface. It also supports Ethernet field bus systems like EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, and sercos III as it has a Multi-Ethernet communication module. Additionally, it comes with a Digital/analog I/O extension module.
Control sections in the BASIC range are compatible with the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW. The drive converter is equipped with a standard control panel with a single-line display and four keys for parameterizing and commissioning the unit. This user-friendly control panel is also useful for fault identification and resolution as it shows operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings.
