It forms the interface between a plant PLC and a connected servo or induction motor, closing current, speed, and position loops for automated machinery, packaging lines, and handling cells. By integrating power electronics, motion control, and encoder processing in one compact housing, it simplifies cabinet layouts and reduces the number of separate devices in the panel. This arrangement supports coordinated motor control while keeping the drive and feedback functions in a single module.
