The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-A-ET-EC-EC-S5-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the interface between a plant PLC and a connected servo or induction motor, closing current, speed, and position loops for automated machinery, packaging lines, and handling cells. By integrating power electronics, motion control, and encoder processing in one compact housing, it simplifies cabinet layouts and reduces the number of separate devices in the panel. This arrangement supports coordinated motor control while keeping the drive and feedback functions in a single module.
Electrical flexibility is provided by a supply window of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, so the controller can operate from either 230 V or 460 V plant distribution. The internal power stage delivers a peak motor current of 18 A for short acceleration bursts. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which pushes cabinet air across the heat sink to maintain operating temperature. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it is finger-safe but requires installation inside an enclosure. Command and diagnostic data travel through MultiEthernet, allowing direct use on PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT through the control interface.
