The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-S5-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It belongs to the HCS01 line and combines a power supply module with a plug-in control section in one single-axis unit. As a digital drive controller, it receives setpoints from higher-level motion systems, regulates the motor phases accordingly, and returns status data for closed-loop positioning. This arrangement suits automated conveyors, pick-and-place gantries, and packaging stations that require coordinated servo motion.
The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing operation on common industrial power systems. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required in the control cabinet. During acceleration or regenerative operation, the inverter can deliver up to 18 A of peak current to support medium-inertia servo motors. The housing is rated IP20, so the unit must be installed inside a closed panel. Command and diagnostic data are exchanged over SERCOS III, which supports deterministic communication and cross-communication between drives and the central motion controller.
The controller is equipped with the ADVANCED control section, which provides integrated parameter memory, safety functions, and drive-based logic. Motor feedback is handled through IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder support, allowing connection to high-resolution absolute encoder systems. Additional fieldbus integration is available through PROFIBUS for sequence-level data exchange with compatible PLC systems. The drive is supplied in an infeeding / fed configuration, which allows DC link energy to be supplied to the unit or absorbed from other axes on a shared power network.
