The Bosch Rexroth Indramat HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-A-CC-EC-PB-NN-NN-FW belongs to the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS drive controller, it serves as the power and regulation stage between the mains supply and synchronous or asynchronous motors in automated machinery. Within a multi-axis system, the unit supervises current, speed, and position loops while exchanging status data with higher-level PLCs. This makes it suitable for coordinated motion tasks on packaging lines, material-handling gantries, and other industrial automation equipment.
Electrical power is supplied at 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10%, allowing the controller to operate on common factory power networks. Cooling is provided by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so heat can be removed without an external cooling assembly on the drive itself. The drive stage can deliver a peak current of 18 A, which suits small to mid-frame servo motors. Real-time axis commands and feedback are handled through the SERCOS III master with cross communication interface, while legacy network integration is available through the dedicated PROFIBUS port. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, so the controller is intended for installation inside a closed control cabinet.
The control section uses the ADVANCED design, which provides the processing capacity needed for coordinated multi-axis programs. Motor feedback is evaluated through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder input, allowing compatibility with common Rexroth feedback systems used on servo motors. Power exchange with the shared DC bus is supported by the drive architecture, and the product is built as design version 1. The unit does not include a safety interface, so external safety relays or related safety hardware must be used where the application requires a safety function.
