It serves as the axis regulator for synchronous or induction motors inside automated machinery, coordinating torque, speed, and position loops. Integrated power electronics, a modular control section, and multiple fieldbus ports allow the unit to exchange commands and diagnostic data with higher-level PLCs while maintaining compact panel dimensions. This layout keeps motion control, power conversion, and communication in one cabinet-mounted device. It is well suited for automation axes that need precise response and direct network integration.
This version accepts a mains supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10% and can deliver a device peak current of 18 A, giving the axis short acceleration bursts without overloading the frame. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external heat sink is required. The protection rating is IP20, indicating finger-safe live parts when the unit is mounted inside a cabinet. On the network side, a MultiEthernet interface supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Sercos over Ethernet without extra option cards.
