The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-S5-NN-FW is a model of the compact HCS drive converters designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features integrated brake current measurement and monitoring with a multi-encoder interface, which is suitable for the most common encoder types. These encoders have supply voltages of 5V and 12V. Some of them are the MSK motor encoder, the MSM motor encoder, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface. The drive converter’s compact build permits its installation within a control cabinet where the heat generated during its operation is eliminated via an internal cooling mechanism.
Operating the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-S5-NN-FW requires a three-phase AC mains connecting voltage between 110V and 230V. It also allows switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. It is best suited for Bosch Rexroth control sections in the BASIC range and interacts with system components via its Multi-Ethernet communication module. This module permits its integration in different Ethernet field bus systems, including sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET IO. Firmware use is also allowed with this HCS model, but it must be ordered separately. Its standard control panel serves as a programming module and a tool for fault identification and resolution. The ambient temperature at its site of operation should not exceed 40oC, while its maximum installation height is 1,000m above mean sea level.
