The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a model of the HCS drive converters designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It permits switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz and a maximum current of 18A. Like others in the series, it has a compact construction and is installed within a control cabinet per the G1 style. Cooled by a forced air cooling current within this control cabinet, natural convection aids the process and prevents the formation of pockets of heat. It belongs to the IP 20 protection category, indicating that it does not admit solid external materials with diameters over 12mm. The drive converter also has an integrated brake current measurement and monitoring feature.
Bosch Rexroth has designed the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW to support the most common encoder types with its multi-encoder interface. These include the MSK motor encoder, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1. Hence, users can select the encoder most suitable for their applications. The drive converter is equipped with a standard control panel whose single-line display shows information like the operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings.
