Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and included in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Its platform follows the HCS01 line, so it shares mounting dimensions with companion modules. It regulates servo and induction motors in multi-axis automation cells by converting line power into controlled output and by exchanging motion data with higher-level PLCs. The unit offers scalable performance for packaging, material handling, and general machinery where compact, panel-mounted control hardware is required.
The controller accepts a three-phase mains supply of 3 x AC 110 to 230 V ±10%, so it can wire directly to plant power without an external transformer. An internal IGBT stage delivers a peak current of 18 A for brief acceleration demands. Motion and diagnostic data travel over the MultiEthernet interface, which can be set to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT. The control section is the BASIC variant, providing standard axis functions and omitting optional add-ons. An IP20 housing requires cabinet mounting while guarding against contact with live parts. The supply section is set for common DC-bus use, allowing multiple drives to share energy.
Both feedback sockets are wired for IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoders, allowing absolute position data to be read without additional adapter boards. Cooling uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet airflow requirements stay minimal while the drive removes its own heat. Design Version 1 identifies the first release of this unit. The integrated power module supports infeeding and fed operation, allowing the unit to act as a DC-bus supply or as a consumer on a shared bus. No safety interface is included, and the control section is factory matched so no additional options are specified.
