Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-CN-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Installed between the mains supply and the motor, it converts incoming line voltage into controlled three-phase output. This lets automation equipment execute repeatable positioning, speed, and torque profiles across diverse production processes.
This unit communicates over a MultiEthernet port, so the same hardware can be integrated into PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT networks without additional cards. The control section uses the BASIC variant, which provides standard motion functions with a reduced parameter set. The power stage is design version 1 and delivers up to 18 A of peak current, enough to start or brake medium-inertia axes without oversizing the drive. Protection against accidental contact is provided by its IP20 housing, which is intended for installation inside a closed electrical cabinet. The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10%, allowing the same model to be used on low-voltage lines common in test stands, packaging machines, and semiconductor tools.
An internal blower forces air through the heat sink, eliminating the need for external ducting while maintaining component temperatures under dynamic load. The feedback port supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 feedback, enabling single-cable encoders that carry position data and commutation values. For higher-level diagnostics and decentralized I/O, a dedicated fieldbus socket offers CANopen connectivity. Functional safety is implemented through STO (Safe Torque Off) and SBC (Safe Brake Control), allowing safe torque removal and brake control without external relays. DC link energy is managed by the integrated power supply rated as infeeding / fed, so the controller can either draw power from or return energy to a common bus.
