Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat supplies the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-CN-L3-NN-FW drive controller, a compact member of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Intended for multi-axis machinery, it rectifies three-phase power, builds a regulated DC link, and modulates phase current to the attached servomotor so that velocity and torque follow motion commands from the plant PLC. By combining the power stage, control electronics, and network interfaces, the device simplifies cabinet layouts in automated packaging, handling, and printing lines.
The controller offers MultiEthernet, allowing PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and other protocol frames to share the same port without additional hardware. Control functions reside in a BASIC section linked to the power module, and this build corresponds to design version 1 with the standard IndraDrive motion kernel. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling that moves air through an integrated blower, eliminating the need for external fans. The inverter can supply up to 18 A of peak phase current for short acceleration or regeneration events, while an IP20 housing encloses live parts so the unit can be mounted inside a protected cabinet. An infeeding and fed power supply concept lets multiple drives share a DC bus, improving energy use during braking cycles.
The mains side accepts 3 × AC 110–230 V with a tolerance of ±10%, supporting installation in diverse regional grids. A dedicated CANopen port provides additional fieldbus connectivity, and position feedback is processed through the dual-channel IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface for high-resolution control. Functional safety is handled by the integrated STO (Safe Torque Off) circuit, which disconnects gate signals to the IGBTs without mechanical relays. No supplementary design features are fitted, and firmware is ordered separately for the required application.
