The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-A-ET-EC-NN-S4-NN-FW is a single-axis drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the power conversion and closed-loop regulation stage between a machine’s control section and its servomotor, supplying commanded current while supervising protective functions. In industrial automation cells, the unit provides velocity, torque, and position control so that packaging stations, small conveyors, or handling modules remain synchronized with the master PLC during starts, stops, and speed changes. This arrangement lets the machine control send motion commands to the drive while the controller handles current regulation and protective responses locally.

For network connectivity, the controller offers a MultiEthernet port that handles real-time fieldbus protocols without additional option cards. Its power stage accepts a three-phase mains supply of 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver a device peak output of 18 A during acceleration or braking peaks.
