Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-A-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series and the HCS01 line. It acts as the power and control bridge between a plant's AC supply and the servo or induction motors that carry out motion tasks. By modulating output voltage and current, the unit supports closed-loop speed and position control in packaging machines, handling systems, and compact assembly cells, while its compact profile helps simplify cabinet layout. This arrangement allows the drive to respond quickly to command changes and maintain stable motor behavior during acceleration, deceleration, and holding periods.
This controller accepts a three-phase mains feed of 3 x AC 110 to 230 V ±10% and can supply up to 18 A of peak current to the connected axis. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so external ducting is unnecessary. The enclosure has an IP20 rating for installation inside a protected cabinet. Because the housing is intended for cabinet installation, surrounding enclosure protection is still required at the machine level. Functional safety is provided by the integrated STO (Safe Torque Off) and SBC (Safe Brake Control) interface, which supports torque-free shutdown and brake control through the drive. The unit is intended for use with the BASIC control section.
Network integration is handled through MultiEthernet, allowing Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT to use the same physical port. Motor position feedback is accepted through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, while a second feedback interface is not equipped. This communication and feedback arrangement supports integration with common industrial networks and compatible motor feedback systems. DC-bus energy exchange uses the Infeeding / Feeded arrangement, allowing one supply module to feed multiple drives. The electronics are built to design 1, and no additional design features are installed.
