Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As a compact control unit for servo and induction motors, it regulates torque, speed, and position on factory axes and conveyor systems. The device integrates power electronics, motion control, and fieldbus communication, providing the link between a higher-level PLC and the connected motor stage in industrial automation. This arrangement lets the drive respond quickly to command changes while keeping motor behavior stable during indexing, conveying, and other machine movements.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, allowing operation on low-voltage mains without an autotransformer. It can deliver up to 18 A of peak output current for short acceleration demands. Networked motion is coordinated over a SERCOS III master interface, while legacy equipment can be connected through the separate PROFIBUS port. Motor feedback is processed through a universal encoder interface compatible with Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2. Because the feedback interface supports multiple encoder formats, the unit can work with different motor feedback systems without a separate converter module. The IP20 enclosure is intended for installation inside a control cabinet where protection against direct contact is sufficient.
Thermal management relies on an internal air blower, so no external ducting is required and cabinet layout remains flexible. The control section carries the ADVANCED designation, which provides expanded processing capability and parameter memory compared with the basic variant. Energy can flow in both directions through the bidirectional power supply concept, allowing braking energy to return to the DC link. This reduces wasted energy during deceleration and supports shared DC-bus operation in multi-axis systems. The unit is version 1 hardware, and it does not include a safety interface.
