As a compact axis inverter, it converts three-phase supply power into regulated output for servo and induction motors used in automated handling, packaging, and machining cells. Its control section carries out precise speed and torque commands from a higher-level PLC or motion system, turning electrical input into controlled shaft motion at the motor. This operating role suits single-axis applications that need consistent response, compact installation, and coordinated motion with other drive components.
The controller communicates with neighboring drives through a SERCOS III master channel that supports cross-communication, so synchronized data can circulate without an external fieldbus coupler. The device peak current is 18 A, which provides short-term output for acceleration and changing load conditions, and incoming power is accepted from 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10% for connection to low-voltage plant supply.
