As a compact motion control unit, it conditions three-phase mains power, executes axis commands, and regulates current for connected synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery. It forms the power section of an IndraDrive system, linking higher-level PLCs to actuators while supporting precise speed and torque regulation. Its compact format suits cabinet installations used in conveyor, packaging, and assembly stations where repeatable axis response is required.
Its peak output reaches 18 A, allowing short-term acceleration currents before the current loop reaches its continuous limit. The controller accepts 3-phase 110–230 V AC supplies with a tolerance of ±10%, so it can be connected to low-voltage industrial networks used worldwide. Real-time motion data is exchanged through a SERCOS III master channel that also supports cross-communication between multiple drives for synchronized axes. Thermal management is handled by internal blower cooling; the integrated fan moves cabinet air through the heat sink without external ducting.
