The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-PB-S4-NN-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series and follows the HCS01 line concept. It is built for single-axis automation and converts incoming three-phase power into regulated outputs for servo or induction motors. This allows the axis to follow commanded speed, torque, and position profiles in packaging, handling, and light machining cells. The controller is suited to compact machine sections that need accurate motor control without a larger multi-axis drive arrangement.
The power section accepts 3 x AC 110 to 230 V ±10% and can supply a device peak current of 13 A, so compact motors can handle short acceleration demands without requiring an oversized mains connection. Thermal management uses internal blower cooling, which moves air through the chassis and avoids the need for external heat sinks. Control functions are handled by the BASIC section, which is mounted to the power module as part of the assembly. Field-level communication is provided through MultiEthernet, allowing the drive to exchange data over Ethernet-based networks through the integrated interface. Design Version 1 marks the initial release, and the unit is intended for installation inside an enclosure.
Two dedicated connections handle feedback and fieldbus communication. One supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, returning absolute position data directly to the drive for closed-loop control and responsive axis regulation. A separate PROFIBUS port maintains compatibility with established PLC systems that still use that network. The housing has an IP20 rating, so the controller requires touch-safe mounting inside switchgear or another protective cabinet. The power supply is classified as Infeeding / Feeded, which allows common DC-bus operation and supports regenerative energy exchange with neighboring converters.
