Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-AW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The unit forms the axis link between a three-phase supply and servo or induction motors, converting commands from a motion processor into regulated current and voltage. By integrating power, control, and safety functions in one enclosure, it streamlines cabinet-mounted automation tasks such as packaging, handling, and assembly where precise closed-loop torque and speed regulation are required. This arrangement reduces the need for separate axis components within the control cabinet.
On the mains side, the controller accepts a supply of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10%, allowing direct connection to low-voltage industrial grids. Its power stage is rated for a device peak current of 13 A, so short acceleration bursts can be handled without tripping. Heat from the switching elements is removed through internal air cooling driven by an integrated blower, eliminating the need for external ducting. The housing carries an ingress rating of IP20, so the unit must be installed inside a protected cabinet. For networked motion, the control section exposes a MultiEthernet port that supports common real-time fieldbus protocols. The power module uses an infeeding/feeded arrangement, allowing excess regenerative energy to be shared across a multi-axis DC bus.
Signal handling uses Design Version 1 and a control section coded as BASIC, as indicated in the product type key. Position feedback arrives through the universal encoder input supporting IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoders, while the second encoder slot is not equipped. Functional safety is delivered by the dual-channel STO and SBC interface, enabling the drive to inhibit torque or release a brake without cutting power. That universal encoder interface lets the controller work with several common motor feedback systems without a separate encoder interface module. The device belongs to the HCS01 line and fits compact, cabinet-mounted axis layouts.
