Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-AA-FW as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The unit functions as a drive controller that converts motion commands from higher-level PLCs into regulated current and voltage for servo or induction motors. Installed between the supply and the mechanical axis, it supports coordinated speed, torque, and position control for repeatable movement during start, stop, and continuous running conditions. In packaging, conveying, and general assembly machinery, it manages one motor channel while responding to changing load and motion profiles.
The controller operates from a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 13 A of peak output to one motor channel. Heat is removed by an internal blower, and the housing has an IP20 rating for installation inside a protected cabinet. For networked operation, the built-in MultiEthernet port supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT, allowing the drive to communicate with common industrial control platforms. Machine safety is handled through the dual-channel STO and SBC interface, which removes drive torque and commands the motor brake when activated.
Parameter handling uses the BASIC control section in design version 1, providing standard velocity and position control without added technology functions. The power section belongs to the HCS01 line and uses an Infeeding / Feeded topology so regenerated energy can be shared over a common DC bus in multi-axis layouts. Interface 1 accepts Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface / EnDat 2.1 / 2.2 signals for motor feedback and high-resolution position capture during closed-loop operation. Interface 2 is left unassigned, which keeps the configuration focused on a single feedback channel and preserves space in the control section.
