The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-SB-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Installed between a plant-level PLC and the attached servo or induction motor, it converts incoming line power, evaluates feedback, and issues precise torque commands so automated machinery can follow programmed motion profiles. By integrating power electronics, signal processing, and network connectivity in one enclosure, the device supports compact multi-axis assemblies on conveyors, gantries, and packaging equipment. This arrangement also reduces the need for separate external motion hardware on smaller machine sections. It helps the drive system respond consistently to changing speed commands and normal load variation during motion.
The controller communicates over the MultiEthernet interface, linking to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT without extra gateway cards. This network flexibility lets the same hardware fit different plant communication standards. Its control section ships in the BASIC configuration, which provides standard positioning functions without optional safety extensions. An internal blower provides air cooling, avoiding external ductwork and helping maintain thermal stability inside the cabinet. The power stage accepts 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10% mains and can deliver up to 13 A of peak current during acceleration or brief overloads. Hardware version 1 offers two feedback channels that support both primary motor feedback and signal forwarding to connected control equipment. Interface 1 supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, allowing the drive to process absolute or high-resolution position data from compatible motors. Interface 2 provides encoder emulation signals for legacy counters or external devices that expect a conventional feedback output. The power module is classified as infeeding / fed, so it can return regenerated energy to a shared DC bus or draw power from it as operating conditions change. That arrangement supports multi-axis groups that share energy between accelerating and decelerating axes.
