The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-L2-NN-FW drive controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an automation component, the unit processes motion commands and modulates motor current so servo axes follow programmed profiles during positioning, speed control, and synchronized machine sequences. This format is suited to compact machine sections where space for separate supply and control modules is limited. It belongs to the HCS01 line family and uses a BASIC control section. By integrating the power supply and control electronics in one enclosure, the controller streamlines cabinet layouts in multi-axis production machines and reduces the number of separate modules required for an axis.
The power stage is rated for a mains input of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, allowing the same hardware to operate on single-phase or three-phase factory grids. The wide input range helps the controller fit installations that use different supply standards without changing the base hardware. Under acceleration, the device can deliver a peak current of 13 A. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit is intended for installation inside a control cabinet that provides additional protection. All heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which pulls cabinet air across the heat sink without external ducting. For networked control, it offers a MultiEthernet interface that supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT.
Both encoder ports support IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback, allowing compatible single-cable motors to connect without adapters. Drive electronics use an infeeding and feeding power supply concept, so several axes can return regenerated energy to a common DC bus. It also supports shared DC-bus operation across connected axes in the same drive system. This arrangement allows braking energy from one axis to be shared within the drive system instead of being dissipated immediately as heat. Because the feedback interfaces are built into the controller, compatible motor feedback signals can be connected directly without external adapter hardware.
