The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-S5-NN-FW is one of Bosch Rexroth’s HCS drive converters cooled by forced ventilation. It has a functional compact design that supports its installation within a control cabinet where natural convection supports the air currents and prevents pockets of heat from forming. Its resistance to penetration by solid external materials over 12mm gives it an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20 in line with EN 60529. It is also a product of category C3 per IEC 61800-3; hence, it is best suited for operation in industrial areas. There is a Multi-Ethernet communication module in the drive converter, as a result, it can be integrated in different Ethernet field bus systems. These include EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, sercos III, and PROFINET IO.
A multi-encoder interface in the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-S5-NN-FW facilitates its connection to standard encoders with supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. They include the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface. It also has an encoder emulation interface for the emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals, which are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. The maximum current for the drive converter is 13A, while its permitted switching frequencies are 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level.
