Compact drive converters comprise the HCS series by Bosch Rexroth. They are components of the IndraDrive drive system and are used to control electric motors and monitor their operation. Their applications include paper processing and printing machines and food packaging machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-FW is a model of the HCS drive converters in the IndraDrive Cs system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It uses a Multi-Ethernet communication module to communicate with other control units, as it can be integrated in several Ethernet field bus systems. These include sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET IO. Based on the requirements of EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the drive controller is IP 20. This indicates that it does not permit the entry of solid extrinsic materials over 12mm. Its multi-encoder interface allows its connection to a wide range of standard encoders, such as the MSK motor encoder, the MS2M motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface.
Absolute value and incremental encoder signals can be emulated by the encoder emulation interface of the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-FW. The signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. This HCS model is cooled by forced air cooling and is suitable for installation within a control cabinet.
