Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive Cs system offers an impressive portfolio of Ethernet-based communications interfaces. The HCS drive converters in the system are compact units made for a wide range of applications. These include machine tools, general automation, and printing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is a drive converter model in the HCS series with a multi-encoder interface. This makes it compatible with standard encoders such as the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the MS2M motor encoder. These encoders have supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. The drive converter’s IP 20 Ingress Protection rating in line with EN 60529 indicates that it does not allow the penetration of solid external materials over 12mm. It is equipped with a standard control panel where its operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings can be viewed. This user panel serves as a programming module and has four keys with a single-line display.
Switching frequencies that are permitted for the operation of the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW are 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.
