The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-L4-NN-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The unit supplies closed-loop power to servo axes and integrates easily into distributed automation cells. By combining its power stage with a detachable control section, the device manages speed, position, and torque for packaging, handling, and light machining equipment inside a protected cabinet environment. This arrangement allows the controller to respond quickly to command changes while maintaining stable motor operation during indexing, speed regulation, and positioning tasks. Its modular design separates the control section from the power stage, so service access can be handled without disturbing mains wiring.

It accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110 to 230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 13 A of peak current during short acceleration bursts. Thermal limits are handled by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, so no external ducting is needed. The housing has an IP20 rating and must be installed inside a switchgear enclosure. Motion data travel over a SERCOS III master link that permits cross-communication and axis synchronization. The power section can operate in infeeding or fed mode, allowing regenerated energy to flow back to the DC bus. Design version 1 is used in the HCS01 line, and no supplemental mechanical options are included.

Control tasks are handled by the ADVANCED control section, which is paired to this power module at the factory. A second fieldbus port offers PROFIBUS connectivity to PLC networks. The primary feedback channel supports IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback for precise position loops. That combination supports communication with higher-level controls and direct motor feedback within the same drive platform. Functional safety includes STO and SBC, allowing torque shutdown and brake shutdown without external contactors.
