The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is intended for coordinating servo axes in small- and medium-power machinery where compact installation, regulated torque, and networked motion control are important. The unit combines an HCS01 power section with an advanced control section that manages feedback, diagnostics, and SERCOS network traffic inside the same enclosure, which helps keep cabinet layouts compact in automated assembly stations and material-handling cells.
This controller can deliver a peak current of 13 A, so the connected motor can draw short bursts during acceleration without exceeding device limits. It accepts a mains supply of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10%, allowing operation on both 120 V and 208 V plant grids. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external heat sink is required. Its IP20 enclosure protects against accidental contact with live parts, but the unit should be installed in a closed panel where dust or moisture is present. For motion bus connectivity, the embedded master interface supports SERCOS III cross communication for synchronized axis control. The power section supports infeed and feed operation, allowing regenerated energy from linked drives to return to the DC bus.
The control section is supplied in the ADVANCED configuration and works with an Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 feedback channel for absolute position data. The unit is built in version 1, which identifies this design revision. It is supplied without a second encoder slot, and the safety interface is not equipped. No additional options are fitted, so the controller remains a straightforward configuration for systems that already handle those functions at a higher level.
