Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Designed for cabinet installation, the unit supplies regulated power and coordinated motion commands to servo axes used in material-handling lines, packaging equipment, and general factory automation. It combines power electronics with communication and feedback interfaces so the controller serves as the direct link between PLC motion requests and motor response. Its integrated layout also supports compact control cabinets where separate motion modules would take more space.
Electrically, the controller accepts a three-phase input of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10%, allowing direct connection to common factory mains. It can source up to 13 A of peak current for short-term motor demands, which supports brief acceleration and changing load conditions. Axis data are exchanged through a SERCOS III master channel that permits cross-communication among drives in the same system. Thermal losses are removed by internal air cooling via an integrated blower, and the IP20 enclosure is finger-safe but still requires installation inside a protective cabinet.
The drive is equipped with the ADVANCED control section, providing expanded processing capacity for complex motion sequences. Encoder feedback is handled by a primary port that supports IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, and a second identical port is available for an additional feedback connection. This arrangement supports applications that need motor feedback and a second encoder channel within the same controller platform. Energy exchange follows infeeding and fed operation, enabling standard DC-bus supply and braking-energy recovery. The unit is not equipped with a safety interface, so external circuitry must handle emergency-stop functions.
