Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It converts incoming mains power into regulated three-phase output and executes motion commands from plant PLCs for closed-loop control of IndraDyn servo motors and actuators. This makes the unit suitable for automated assembly lines, packaging machines, and similar equipment where accurate speed, torque, and position control are required. Its compact controller format supports installation in cabinet-based motion systems that need coordinated axis performance.
An input window of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10% allows the controller to operate on common low-voltage supplies without an external transformer. Heat from the power electronics is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so separate external heat sinks are not required. During acceleration, the inverter can deliver a peak phase current of 13 A to support short bursts of torque before returning to its continuous operating limit. The housing has an IP20 rating, so the unit must be installed inside a switch cabinet for proper protection. Axis data is exchanged over a SERCOS III master (cross communication) channel, allowing deterministic communication and coordinated operation across multiple drives.
The power stage is paired with the ADVANCED control section. Functional safety is provided by the STO (Safe Torque Off) interface, which disables drive pulses when the emergency circuit is opened. Two feedback ports support IndraDyn Hiperface or EnDat 2.1 and 2.2 encoder formats, allowing connection to compatible motor feedback systems and supporting redundant position signals when required by the application. The power section uses an Infeeding / Feeded topology, so braking energy can be returned to the DC bus instead of being dissipated locally. The unit belongs to the HCS01 line and is listed as Design Version 1.
