Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-E-S3-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Positioned between the mains supply and a servo or spindle motor, it converts incoming three-phase power into controlled DC bus energy for axis operation. In industrial automation, the unit governs torque and speed on individual axes while exchanging motion data with higher-level control systems. This arrangement supports coordinated movement in handling equipment, machine tools, and similar systems that require stable drive response. It can be used wherever one axis must follow commanded motion while remaining synchronized with the rest of the machine.
The controller communicates over SERCOS III, which supports deterministic cycle timing for synchronous motion profiles. It operates from a supply of 3 x AC 110–230 V (±10%) and can deliver up to 9 A of peak output current to a connected motor. Cooling is provided by an internal blower that moves air through the heat sink without external ducting. Position data is handled through a multifunction feedback channel for Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, allowing connection to Rexroth and compatible third-party encoder systems. Functional safety includes STO and SBC, which allow motor torque to be disabled and the mechanical brake to be controlled through the safety circuit.
The control section uses the ECONOMY variant and is built as Design Version 1. Because the second interface slot is not fitted, diagnostics and feedback are handled through the primary channel. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the controller is intended for installation inside an electrical cabinet. Energy can also be exchanged on a common DC bus, which allows braking energy from one axis to be used elsewhere in the drive system.
