Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-E-S3-EC-NN-L4-AA-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It belongs to the HCS01 line and is supplied as design version 1. The unit converts incoming three-phase supply power into regulated motor current for servo axes in industrial automation cells, conveyors, and handling systems. It is intended for compact motion applications where the drive must support coordinated speed, torque, and position control within a machine system.
The controller accepts a mains window of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 9 A of peak output, allowing it to operate small to medium IndraDyn motors. This voltage range supports use on low-voltage three-phase supplies commonly found in compact industrial equipment. Command and diagnostic data move over SERCOS III, while the installed control section follows the ECONOMY profile for standard motion tasks. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower. The power section is arranged so regenerated braking energy can be returned to the DC link during deceleration when compatible system components are used.
For cabinet integration, the housing carries an IP20 ingress rating, so it must be mounted in an enclosed panel rather than in an open machine area. Motion stop and brake release functions are handled through the dual-channel safety inputs STO and SBC, supporting torque shutdown and controlled brake actuation. High-resolution position data reach the drive through the multifunction encoder port that supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2. Support for these feedback formats allows the controller to work with multiple compatible motor encoder systems. A second feedback socket is left vacant, which allows operation without a redundant sensor channel when the application does not require one.
