It is installed between the facility’s AC supply and a motor axis, where it converts line power, processes feedback, and exchanges real-time data with higher-level motion systems. In automated cells, the unit coordinates torque, speed, and safety functions so servo or spindle motors follow commanded profiles without external relays or converters.
The controller operates on a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10%, and its power stage can deliver up to 9 A of peak current for short acceleration bursts. A BASIC control section handles axis logic and diagnostic tasks while maintaining compatibility with HCS01 line pairing requirements. Communication to PLC networks is provided through MultiEthernet, and this factory-installed port supports several industrial Ethernet protocols without extra hardware.
