Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Intended for servo and induction motor axes in the low-kilowatt range, it serves as the power and control core that processes drive commands and energizes the connected motor stages. By integrating the power electronics, feedback interface, and fieldbus communication into one enclosure, the unit supports tightly synchronized motion in packaging machines, handling stations, and other automated assemblies. It can serve as the main motion component for compact axes where cabinet space is limited but coordinated control is still required.
For networked installations, the controller offers a MultiEthernet port that can be configured for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT without additional hardware. The mounted control section follows the BASIC design, so parameter processing and control functions are handled within the drive. Heat generated by switching devices is removed through internal air cooling, using an integrated blower that draws cabinet air across the heat sink and eliminates external ducting. Power stage capability reaches 9 A peak current, which is suitable for small dynamic axes, and the housing carries an IP20 rating for protected cabinet mounting away from direct liquid or dust exposure.
The supply side accepts 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10%, allowing the same hardware to be used on three-phase low-voltage mains in different regions. Feedback wiring terminates on the first interface slot that supports a Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder input, enabling absolute position monitoring with IndraDyn motors or compatible third-party devices. Energy exchange with the DC bus is handled by an infeeding and regenerative power supply, so braking energy can be returned to the supply or shared on the DC bus. The unit provides no safety interface, so safety functions must be handled by external hardware or higher-level control equipment.
